This is not a poem, this is not a music album, this is the audio from a long form monologue written and narrated by Cam Smith.
The entire project was recorded in one take, with the natural hiccups left in the recording, all done on with Macbook microphone on GarageBand. The music is a simple progression provided to create breaks in-between tonal shifts.
If possible, try to listen to it in one sitting.
All money made goes toward making more stuff like this.
Warning: includes conversation about suicidal thoughts, depression, mental disorders, bullying, weight issues, and playful jabs at German culture.
The audio was recorded and read by Cam Smith.

Most names and locations have been changed to protect the identities and likeness of friends and family. Some circumstances have been altered to protect the privacy of those involved. (one college story changed to camp stories, visalia basketball story happened at retreat that I am not allowed to name, basically I couldn't get certain people to allow me to tell their stories, so I had to change the details to protect them. The main offender is "Carson" who I met in a very different time and place than the story claims, just to be clear. This is a monologue, it's like a movie, some details have to be changed so other people don't feel like their secrets are being shared as well.)
